We speak your language.
The language of automation, fine mechanics, micro-electronics, milling, punching, tool-making, equipment and automotive technology, the sanitary industry or even of luxury goods. We speak the product language of electro-mechanics, domestic appliances, micro-electronics, telecommunication, watch-making and instrument-making.

We know many markets and their subject-specific requirements. We would like to speak to you.

The right alloy for your sector

Punchers, formers, tool-makers or system suppliers to the automotive industry, fashion sector or instrument manufacturers have specific requirements for the properties of their semi-finished goods. Because machines used for processing are just like divas. Each has its specific characteristics and each product has specific physical characteristics. The alloy must be soft, easy to draw or moderately hard, should not corrugate during processing or must be spring-tempered so that a lock remains functional or a plug contact retains its functional form.

ILNOR's many years of close cooperation with customers means the company knows the markets and their product-specific procedures. We can thus produce and reproduce any metal band alloys you require for your sales market according to your requirements in our production division.

We serve the European market when it comes to differentiated material properties. We would like to be of service to you. Provide us with a challenge!

Brass band - Material property

Description

G/K = grain size
F = hardness.
R = Rm tensile strength N/mm².
H = Hardness in H or HV
(Vickers hardness).
Rp0,2/S = Yield point in N/mm².
A = Elasticity limit / elasticity in %.
The number following the abbreviation refers to the size of the test sample to be measured.

Copper/zinc alloy brass band

Copper/zinc alloy brass band
CuZn 5/10/15/20/28/30/33/37

Soft: F23 - 30/R 230-300,

Semi-hard: F27 – 37/R 270-350

Hard: F34 - 44/R 340-410

Spring-tempered F41-54/R410-550

Double spring-tempered: F 61/R 630

Depending on the alloy, the strength and tensile strength values and hardness ranges will vary.
The hardnesses, yield points, elasticity limits and grain sizes may be taken from our product list.

Thickness and width tolerances, curvatures, burr formation at the cutting edge and horizontal convexity as agreed upon or in accordance with DIN/EN standards.
