ILNOR is a "tier three supplier" of non-ferrous metal bands such as copper, brass and bronze for punching and moulding companies who ultimately turn our materials into the hybrid components needed by the automotive industry.
Certification according to ISO/TS 16949 for the automotive supplier industry and the endorsement of numerous well-known customers have confirmed the company's ability to fulfil the requirements of the automotive industry.
All ILNOR alloys are listed in the IMDS database. We comply with and fully implement the current raw material regulations such as WEE, RoHs, REACH, etc.
ILNOR bronze bands are used for the production of springs or spring contacts in relays, switches and buttons for indicators, hooters or window regulators in on-board electronics.
ILNOR brass bands are used to produce flat connectors, connector contacts, fuses and fuse holders that are embedded in plastic and used as hybrid parts in vehicle cabling. Tin-coated brass band is used for battery clamps in the engine compartment. The material alloys fulfil the durability criteria of the automotive manufacturers with regard to temperature fluctuations or pollution with oil or splashed water.
The mechanical stability of copper bands is limited due to the softness of copper. Copper bands are nevertheless found in many small electrical motors for window regulators, seat adjustment or pumps.

Bronze in use - Example
Application examples:
CuSn 4= Damping pipes for machine and device construction, vibration dampers for cooling compressors, bellows, spring contacts for relays or switches.
CuSn 5-6: Springs and spring contacts for electrical use in relays or switches, leaf springs, coil springs
CuSn8: As CuSn5-6 and additionally also sliding bearings, sliding tracks and bolts

Application examples
Cu-ETP: Power rails, electrical clamps electrical distributors, plug connectors, electrical contacts, electrical motors
Cu-DHP: Similar to EPT, but can also be welded.
Cu-PHC and CuZN0,5: Gutters, downpipes, building facades, accessories, very well suited for welding, soft-soldering and hard-soldering.
